The Small Business Institute, also known as SBI, was an eleven part interactive learning series that provided small businesses with the information, contacts and skills they need to operate their businesses efficiently and productively.  The program consisted of a series of 90 minute programs on a variety of small business topics presented by experts in their fields of work.

Each program began with a continental breakfast and networking from 7:30 a.m. until 8:00 a.m. followed by 90 minutes of presentations of practical "news you can use" on a variety of issues and resources which are important to small businesses.  Each morning wrapped up with 30 more minutes of networking and one-on-one with the presenters and exhibitors from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.

This program was sponsored by and presented at New Life Church at 262 Bee St., Meriden, CT.  New Life Church has some of the best state-of-the-art audio and video recording and editing equipment...and they provided the continental breakfast AND created the DVD masters for duplication and distribution.

The following Session Topics are now available on DVD:

  • Session 1 - Show Me the Money – Financing Your Growing Business
  • Session 2  - Marketing, Branding, Publicity and Promotion…on a Shoestring Budget
  • Session 3  - Legal & Accounting Issues - Why Do I Need Legal and Tax Advisors?
